Faroe Islands - As a component of Denmark's Kingdom, the Faroe Islands are an autonomous archipelago. In the North Atlantic Ocean, it consists of eighteen rugged, volcanic islands that are connected by causeways, ferries, road tunnels, and bridges. The islands are situated between Iceland and Norway. Mounts, valleys, green heathlands, and sheer coastal cliffs that are home to hundreds of seabirds are what attract hikers and birdwatchers.
